Core responsibilities

  • Assist in sketching, prototyping, testing, and iterating on user journeys alongside the team
  • Help apply and maintain design systems across projects, with support from senior designers
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure design intent is maintained through to implementation
  • Support workshops by helping prepare materials and capturing insights during sessions
  • Be open to feedback and regularly share your work for input and guidance
  • Help track design tasks and contribute to maintaining momentum within your project team
  • Learn to explain your design decisions clearly in presentations and design reviews
  • Support documentation of user flows, edge cases, and decisions to aid development handover
  • Contribute to the visual design of layouts, colour, typography, iconography and brand elements
  • Help organise information and map simple user journeys to support intuitive experiences
  • Assist in mapping services and processes to understand how digital products fit into the bigger picture
  • Participate in agile sprints and multidisciplinary team ceremonies to stay aligned and informed

Essentials

  • Promising design portfolio that shows clear thinking, solid UX and UI craft and measurable impact
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Confident in sharing work with peers and clients
  • Proficiency in Figma with an understanding of design systems
  • Good technical awareness
  • Understanding of data and information design

As our Associate Digital Product Designer, you’ll support the design of thoughtful, user-centred digital products across a variety of projects. You’ll work on real customer and business challenges while developing your UX and UI design skills.

You’ll be part of a collaborative, experienced team that values craft, creativity, and thoughtful execution. We encourage ownership, open feedback, and design driven by empathy and impact.
